The Heritage of Pinnacle Retreat Center
Pinnacle Retreat Center began as a summer camp in 1947. The ministry expanded in 1997 to a year-round facility for church group retreats. In 2003, a $10,000,000 capital campaign was adopted. Since then, six new buildings have been constructed. In addition, the historic Pinnacle Chapel has been completely restored and upgraded. Numerous other capital improvements have been made to modernize the facilities. More new buildings are also part of the master plan. Donations to the capital campaign are ongoing. If you would like to donate or need further information please contact us. We are a 501c3 non profit organization. Thank you. We are a ministry of Baptist Woman's Missionary Union of Georgia (BWMU). Other non-profit groups not affiliated with BWMU of Georgia are welcome to utilize the facility as long as their purpose, mission and values do not conflict with that of BWMU of Georgia. Management reserves the right to limit or deny use of the facility. Our Mission Pinnacle Retreat Center is dedicated to God; to lead people to Christ, to develop Christian character, and to promote world missions. | ![]() |
